CROSSROADS YOUTH MINISTRY 

Bruce Gallagher has served for several years as our children's and youth director.   Bruce is well known in Mt. Olive Township, having served as Captain of the Flanders Emergency Squad - a position he's just left to concentrate more on youth ministry.   Serving with Bruce and Patty Alnor are spouses Stephanie Gallagher,  Bill Alnor, and the Sunday team also.   If you have any questions about Crossroads Community Youth, please contact Bruce at:  (973) 440-8780 (cell) or email brucegallagher80@gmail.com.

Crossroads youth plans approximately 2 activities a month and a couple of retreats annually (Camp Orchard Hill, PA).    Activities include games, creative Bible discussion with movies, fundraisers, service projects to help others, and much more.

Each Sunday, during the adult message, our Middle School Youth meets downstairs for discussion, often drawn from contemporary Christian music and the Scriptures.   

One Sunday a month Middle and Sr. Youth meet during the worship service for a discussion (led by Mr. G) of our Pastor's message that day.

Each Thursday night from 7 to 9, our teens are at PS 220, meeting at Community Bible Church on Flanders Drakestown Rd., Budd Lake (next to the Mt. Olive Municipal Building and in front of the Mt. Olive Library).    PS 220, led by Pastor Mike Olivero of Fellowship Chapel, (862-228-0017), is a larger local youth ministry that involves teens from many churches.  This gives our own teens a much bigger, exciting weekly youth experience with kids from other groups.   Our teens also make up most of the PS 220 band - singer, guitar, bass and drums.
