Crossroads Community Church

A Christian Reformed Ministry

Rev. Paul M. Ingeneri - Pastor

What to Expect when you visit Crossroads

We know it’s tough visiting a Sunday worship for the first time or for the first time in a long time, so we want to let you know as much as possible in advance so you’ll feel more comfortable.

Dress:  Most dress casually.

When you arrive:  Our building is not large, so you can’t get lost.  Greeters in the foyer will give you the worship program and answer any questions you may have…we also have sheets with some activities for the kids.     Bathrooms are downstairs, along with our staffed nursery.

Style & content of worship:  Our style is contemporary and simple.  We begin with greeting one another, followed by some contemporary praise songs led by our worship team of guitars, bass, drums and singers (please feel free to sing, clap or not, according to your own style and comfort level).   We then have an offering for Crossroads Ministries.

During the message, based on the Bible and contemporary life and needs, children from age 4 through 5th grade (early & later elementary) go downstairs for Children’s Worship, along with 6-8 graders for Middle School Youth.   Sr. High students stay with adults upstairs.   Of course, if you rather have your child stay with you, that’s fine.    Also, there’s a long seat and large window in the foyer if you feel your child is “antsy” and you want to leave the worship center, but still be able  to participate in the worship.

We have communion (the Lord’s Supper) every week, and you do not have to be a member to participate.

A brief Bible reading and song finish our worship time together.   Refreshments for all are available in the foyer.

That’s about it…we hope you visit us soon!
