Kids and Crossroads
Crossroads is a very family friendly church!
One of our Core Values (assumptions that guide our church's actions and demonstrate our priorities) is that we're committed to strengthening marriages and helping parents nurture strong, secure, successful children. How do we do this?
At the start of our 10:30 worship service, children ages 3 to 11 are welcome to come forward to the stage area for a short children’s sermon/object lesson (monthly).
During the adult message, children ages 3 through grade 5 attend "Children's Worship." Crossroads has classes for pre-K (3-4 year old), Early Elementary (K- Grade 1), Elementary (Grades 2-3) and Late Elementary (Grades 4-5). These lessons include practical Bible teaching intended to help children know God, grow strong emotionally and spiritually, and serve others.
Children (even those not yet able to receive communion) come forward with parents for our weekly celebration of the Lord's Supper.
